- Design
We will work with you or your architect to design and detail
the best frame to suit your requirements. Once the exact dimensions
are agreed we can prepare workshop drawings.
- Ordering
We will give you a firm quote for making the frame and putting
it up on site. Generally we ask for a first payment to book
time in our schedule and to order your timber.
- Timber
It takes about two weeks for the sawmill to deliver your timber
to our workshop where we will cut your frame.
- Framing
In the workshop, we layout, cut , and joint the timbers to
form frames which will only go together in the final site
raising. Every timber is unique to its position and receives
a chiselled numeral to make sure it is raised in its correct
place. Making the frame usually takes several weeks and you
are welcome to come and see it being made during that time.
- Raising
Erecting the frame or trusses on site is a very exciting time
for all involved. We often use a crane to make raising safer
and faster. A roof structure of trusses, purlins, and wind
braces may take just a day to raise. KTC supply and erect
nationwide.
- Insulation
Can comply with all Planning Regulations, European Building
Regulations and European fire Regulations.
